FairyTale: A True Story

FairyTale: A True Story is a 1997 film from Paramount Pictures, loosely based on the story of two girls who lived in Cottingley, England. The girls claimed to have taken authentic photographs of fairies back in 1917. The rest of the movie is ficticious.
In the early 1980s Elsie and Frances admitted that the photographs were faked using cardboard cutouts of fairies copied from a popular children's book of the time, but Frances maintained that the fifth and final photograph was genuine. So, I guess that means the movie is based upon some fact, mixed in with some fiction, mixed with some speculation, mixed with a good dose of mystery and so on and so forth....
Having said that, I like to think of this movie as being a tale of REDEMPTION!
And when all is said and done, that is the power of God! I hope you enjoy the movie :D
